Safran’s rapid growth and development in the United States has created a wide spectrum of high-value jobs across the country.

Creating high-value US Jobs

In a competitive international marketplace, Safran understands that its employees are a vital component to continued success – which is why the company regularly seeks out the "best and brightest" individuals to support its expanding operations both in the U.S. and overseas.

By the end of 2013, the U.S. market accounted for more than 10 percent of the global Safran workforce.

These jobs span the Group's three core competencies (aerospace, defense and security), with a wide spectrum of positions in support; research, design and development; production and programs/customer relations.

Hiring is on the rise throughout Safran's global operations, which at the start of 2014 had a worldwide employee count of more than 66,200 individuals. This figure is expected to increase over the coming years.

In 2013 alone, the Group added over 8,400 new employees worldwide – a large number of which were for highly sought after engineering roles.

The U.S. market will benefit from this hiring rate as the Group continues to expand rapidly in the country. At present, Safran has 30 companies and joint ventures located across 22 states with an employee count of 7,000.

At Safran, human resources activity is driven by professional excellence, with the goal to provide employees with a safe and motivating work environment allowing them to fully apply their experience and skills for the benefit of customers.

The Group invests heavily in its employees, providing opportunities for career development through competency and skill development, training and mobility.
