Job Summary:
The Staff Aircraft Systems Engineer is a member of the Program Engineering Team within the Program Management Department. This individual will perform tasks associated with the configuration of company products onto Aircraft Platforms. They will be a member/leader of the technical team responsible for accomplishing tasks associated with Program Engineering for Airline Programs. This position will receive task assignments from a senior member of the team. In the case that they are assigned as the Technical Lead, they will be assigned to oversee the technical tasks associated with a group of programs. Tasks will include the detailed engineering work associated with configuring company products, RAVE IFE and GX Connectivity systems, to specific aircraft platforms for ultimate delivery to airline customers. As a Staff Aircraft Systems Engineer, personnel and technical leadership attributes are demonstrated on a consistent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Provide seat integration designs and drawings as well as other electrical and/or mechanical drawings for the installation of company equipment onto aircraft
 Produce Engineering Designs consistent with company standards for our products and the integration into Aircraft Platforms
 Lead Teams as assigned to complete Program Engineering assignments
 Interface with team members and be a contributing, value-added member of the team
 Responsible for design review preparation, support, attendance and delivery
 Ensure requirement compliance for SW integration and test
 Aircraft certification material preparation and compliance
 Ensure customer configuration data is retrieved and implemented properly
 Support system installations or trouble shooting
 System integration test and support as required
 Sales Support as required for the integration of Sales Kits
 Perform installation designs independently
 Support Program Managers with the prioritization of Program Engineering tasks
 Independently represent the company at Technical Meetings with Seat and Monument Vendors and/or Integrators
 Mentor and engage other team members
 Interface with customers for assigned Programs
 Utilize knowledge gained to improve efficiency in supporting customer program delivery
 Demonstrate personnel and technical leadership attributes on a consistent basis
 Demonstrate the ability to perform as a Technical Lead
 Responsibilities as a Technical Lead will include:
o Be the primary technical point of contact for Programs assigned to their team
o Interface with the customers and ensure all tasks needed to successfully complete the program have been identified

Job requirements

Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:
 Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
 9+ years of experience working in a similar role
 7+ years of experience performing in a technical role on similar engineering tasks
 Experience with IFE or aircraft installation design
 Prior project management experience
