Job Duties: Oversee implementation of supplier performance and quality changes, with a view toward improving supply chain performance across multiple departments in North American region. Manage staff in leading process analysis, and facilitate development of continuous improvement activities for production, work instructions, tool templates, and overall supply chain processes. Oversee North American supplier lean assessment audits to identify opportunities to deploy Lean-Sigma methodologies to improve performance in cost, quality, delivery and innovation. Direct analysis of Industrial Validation Process (IVP) requirements, and verify the reliability of supplier's processes and control plans to ensure compliance with Safran's quality definitions. Oversee root cause analysis and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions using 8D problem solving when necessary. Manage analysis of quality performance, direct performance reviews with key suppliers, determine quality objectives, and oversee achievement of these objectives. Coordinate On Time and Quality Delivery, New Program Introduction, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Supplier Development for a portfolio of 120 suppliers across various group entities in North America. Oversee growth of North American IPO by collaborating with leaders within global and local affiliates, directing the execution of global customers' requirements.
Job requirements: Requires a Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) or higher in Aeronautical Engineering or Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in job offered or in managing global supply chain. All stated experience must include the following: MRP2 Planning and Control; Making fast business driven decision (technical or economic); Methodology and tool management. 3 years of stated experience must include: SAP; Experience with 8D, QRQC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa; building strong relationships with customers, and gaining new business from internal international customers/affiliates. Must be available to travel domestically and internationally 50% of working time. Must be fluent in French.
