Job description

Safran Cabin Materials located in Newport, WA is recruiting for a:

Maintenance Supervisor
1st Shift 6am-2:30pm M-F
$30-$40/hr DOE

Responsible for coordinating activities related to the maintenance, repair and required calibration of company equipment and machinery to support all necessary production operations.
Mentor, direct, train and schedule the maintenance team to support all maintenance functions.
Work closely with the maintenance coordinator to ensure timely and cost effective maintenance and repair activities, including the preventative maintenance program.
Ensure the maintenance team complies with all company and regulatory guidelines regarding risk management, operational safety policies, including lock out/tag out, electrical, elevated platform and confined space activities.
Will be fiscally responsible for all activities related to the maintenance of the company assets, replacement parts, critical spares, labor tracking and time keeping, etc.
Will be responsible for maintaining positive business relationships with vendors, customers, etc.
Other task as needed.
Some travel to other locations may be required as needed.

Job requirements

Min 5 years of experience required as a maintenance tech, with proficient knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, electrical control systems.
Proven ability to lead a team is plus.
Must have strong positive customer service to all levels of staff, vendors, customers, etc.
Prior management experience a plus.
Must be proficient with Windows Operating System, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
