Planning & Production Control
Professional, Engineer & Manager
The Planner generates and reviews production plan to identify risks and insure a smooth, balanced flow of product while working directly with PCS and other departments to identify and resolve production planning issues. Releases Material Orders and monitors job movement in production to ensure continuous flow and on time completion.
The Planner is also responsible to level load and firm material orders to exception messages and capacity constraints.
Posses Capacity and Demand Analysis Experience
Basics of Supply Chain understanding
Excel Advanced skill level
Problem solving ability
Job duties and tasks -
Level load and firm material orders to exception messages and capacity constraints
Production scheduling & production interface.
Manage all aspects of sub-assembly MO's from release to stock including MO packet generation.
Fix MO issues in M3 for clean processing while meeting demand and limiting excess inventory.
Support DMR / MRB activity including processing reworks.
Manage DO activity including Firm, Confirm, and release for shipment.
Monitor processing times to improve lead times.
Report any event that have or may have an impact on Safety or Quality. Bring the Quality and Flight safety policy to the attention of the team members
Participate on the Safety Management System
Implementation of preventive and corrective actions along with continuous improvement and 5S
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in manufacturing or related field plus 3-years experience OR 5 years related experience
M3 experience desired
Able to communicate efficiently, team player, and posses time management and organizational skills
