Job description

The Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) has to follow and manage global supplier performance from
business initiation to mass production; obtain, implement, and track supplier improvement plan to
continuously improve their maturity level in order to guarantee that the cost, quality, and on time delivery
performance is in line with final customer expectation; and ensure global supplier supply chain
representative improvement action cohesion
Responsibilities:

  • • Ensure service operation
  • • Cross functional management
  • • Pilot Supplier Development approach in link with French SPM service chief, by :
    • -Taking into account supplier relation conjectural elements
    • -Commercial relation and supplier strategy
    • -Contract implemented
    • -Identified risks
    • -Ensuring supplier commitment
    • -Performing diagnostic
    • -Action plan validation
    • -Managing action plan and evaluating its effectiveness
  • • Ensure and/or manage selected improvement tool implementation
  • • Identify improvement targets and make it contractual by
Purchasing division
  • • Guarantee process for SAFRAN non conformity, identified during supplier improvement plan and set up
  • • Ensure Quality & Logistics contractual commitment
  • • Ensure industrial best practice continuity for supported suppliers
  • • Mobilized and federate all performance improvement participants
  • •Manage global crisis situation
  • • Coordinate supplier visit (commercial action not included into the perimeter) Quality
  • • Identified Product Process Audit performance in collaboration with CoE (Center of Excellence) Quality management
  • • Supplier concession request and non-conformity management support
  • • Corrective or preventive action request emission if any deviation is identified Linked activities
  • • Participation to new source evaluation and pre selection
  • • Sourcing / marketing purchasing division support
  • • Potential supplier evaluation under SAFRAN monitoring
  • • Support purchasing division on any negotiation issue or contract

  • • Requested support supply for Safran and/or Safran visitors
  • • Purchasing division, production control and central quality SAFRAN interface for GEAE.
