Safran's booth featured an Airbus A320 nose landing gear and a Boeing 737 NG carbon brake from Safran Landing Systems. Visitors were also able to see Safran Electronics & Defense's Rudder Trim Actuator – an electromechanical rotary actuator that controls the rudder trim tab.

Safran made headlines at the show with the signing of a support agreement between Safran Nacelles and Azul under which the company will provide repair services and spares pool resources for thrust reversers that equip the airline's Airbus A330 jetliner fleet powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines. Safran Nacelles also announced its selection by Avianca Holdings S.A. to provide repair services and spares pool resources for engine nacelles that equip the airline's growing fleet of Airbus A320neo family jetliners, which are powered by CFM International LEAP-1A turbofan engines.

A major highlight of MRO Americas 2019 was also Safran Aircraft Engines' commercial launch of B.Side®, its new remote borescope inspection service. This innovative service is designed to help airline technicians speed up decisions during the borescope inspection of engines, to keep their aircraft grounded for as short a time as possible.

In addition, Safran's aftermarket capabilities in the electrical power systems and aircraft interiors markets was highlighted with the presence of Safran Electronics & Defense Avionics and Safran Aerosystems.

Also at MRO Americas, Safran Ghislaine Doukhan, Executive Vice President of Safran Analytics, participated in an all-female panel entitled "Big Data = Cost Savings". Moderated by Lee Ann Shay, Chief Editor MRO, Aviation Week, the panel featured guest speakers from Airbus, Air France – KLM Engineering/MRO, Boeing Global Services, and Pratt & Whitney. Safran Analytics was created in January 2015 to harness data to drive growth for Safran by supporting Group company projects and by supplying tools and services to use data.

As the main gathering of aviation maintenance professionals, MRO Americas provided a unique platform for Safran representatives to meet existing and potential customers at its booth and to network with new colleagues.
