The briefing was followed by a tour during which Congressman Joyce experienced, first-hand, innovative products such as the Ram Air Turbine (RAT) and power generators for the Boeing F-15 combat aircraft and Boeing's 777 airliner that are developed in Twinsburg.

After the tour, the Congressman addressed employees who had gathered on the factory floor, fielding questions on a variety of topics, and then interacting with individuals before departing.

With more than 130 employees, the Twinsburg facility has seen steady growth in hiring over the past few years. In order to attract key talent, the company is active in the local community through partnerships with colleges and universities.

In addition to Twinsburg, the Safran group has other locations in the state of Ohio, namely CFM International (a joint company between Safran Aircraft Engines and GE), Safran USA (supply chain engine support office) and Nexcelle (a joint venture between GE Aviation and Safran Nacelles), that contribute to the U.S. aerospace sector.

As the Safran group continues to expand in the United States, visits such as these are part of a larger effort to promote it as a trusted partner committed to growing jobs and economic vitality across the country. Safran companies across the United States welcome opportunities to host elected officials at their facilities to showcase key talents, technologies and products.
